Performance
The game is made to sit in a corner: in the background it uses about 185 MB of RAM. These settings save even more, without changing anything in the game itself.
| Option | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Frame rate (FPS) | 15 | How many times per second the strip is drawn (10, 15 or 30). It's the setting that saves the most CPU: 15 uses ~25% less than 30; 10, ~40% less. |
| Effects quality | High | Amount of particles, auras and buffs drawn (Low, Medium, High). Low uses less CPU with many buffs active. |
| Reduced animations | off | Turns off background scrolling, idle breathing, glow and animated effects, and draws the strip less often. |
| Release idle memory | on | While the game is idle (windows closed or a full-screen game running), returns unused memory to Windows. |
Audio
| Option | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Music on | off | The soundtrack; sound effects have their own volume. |
| Volumes | 80% / 50% / 50% | Master, music and effects. |
| Mute all | off | Cuts all game sound. |
| Mute in background | off | No sound while another window has focus. |
